WILLIAM MEI

I have 15 years of experience in helping people purchase or refinance homes and I’m dedicated to helping you find the right home loan. When working with me, you will find a trusted and transparent mortgage professional who specializes in first-time homebuyers and military veterans to help navigate the home loan process. I offer conventional, jumbo, FHA/VA, USDA, and specialty loan programs.

In today’s world, communication is key. I’m accessible via email, cell phone, or text message – whichever mode of communication is best for you. I offer outstanding follow-up. I provide same day pre-qualifications and rapid turn times, due to our innovative loan process and underwriting schedule. I work off referrals from my past clients and a handful of professionals, and I work to ensure your loan closes quickly and smoothly. I will walk you through the mortgage process every step of the way – from start to finish, and everything in between.
I’m a south Florida Native, born and raised in Pompano Beach. Upon graduating Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, I served my country in the US Navy. After 6 years of active duty and active reserve duty, I returned home to earn my degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. I entered the mortgage industry with Homebanc Mortgage in 2002 scoring as one of the Top 100 Rookie Loan Originators in the country, and I’ve been a successful Loan Officer ever since. I’m a proud US Navy veteran, serving as Chairman of the USS Robert E. Peary Reunion Committee. I also serve my community by mentoring Veterans for Mission United of Broward and serve on the city of Tamarac’s Veterans Affairs Committee. I support my parish, All Saints Church in Sunrise, FL, and I’m the proud father of 2 beautiful daughters. I spend my free time on the water, boating and enjoying the south Florida landscape.
